A few words from Farah to fellow alums:

Please check out my blog on green design in Texas, and send me your comments! I started my website three years ago in an effort to raise public awareness on environmental design, and it has made me much more observant when I travel. I've been compiling my insights on American cities to shed light on local projects, hoping this will inspire others to partake in environmental leadership, whether it is through design, volunteering, social media, etc. This past October, I spent a great deal of time navigating San Antonio and Austin and learning about their local environmental initiatives, including waste diversion + building energy codes. I hope you'll enjoy my thoughts. My next feature will revolve around my visit to Georgetown, one of the country's first 100% renewable energy cities!
