About this Award
This $1500 award is being gifted in loving memory of alumnus Robert E. Markinson RA, CCNY B.S. Architecture, 1990, honoring Bob’s passion for the profession and his commitment to mentoring.
The Award is given annually to a deserving student at the Spitzer School of Architecture of CCNY, who shows expertise in technology, detailing and research in Architecture. It is funded by Bob’s wife.
After Bob’s passing in April 2020, his wife Haritini Kanthou repurposed money left over from donations from family, friends and colleagues to establish this award in his honor. She continues to fund it annually. We are grateful that she has chosen to give this to a deserving student at the Spitzer School of Architecture of CCNY, who shows expertise in technology, detailing and research in Architecture.
