Revit Architecture Entry Level Course

This 3-day course (18hrs total) is dedicated to familiarizing the new user with Revit basic commands for Architects. The focus will be on development of your design, productivity and documentation tools for Autodesk Revit.

After completing this course, you will be able to:
• Understand Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Navigate the user interface.
• Create a basic floor plan, work with level and grids.
• Add/modify floors, ceilings and roofs.
• Add/modify walls, doors, windows and use editing commands.
• Understand parametric objects.
• Add/modify component families.
• Duplicate, create and manage views (elevations, sections, callouts, 3Ds) as well as control all visibilities.
• Work with dimensions and other annotations.
• Work with stairs and railings.
• Create/manage rooms, schedules and legends.
• Create/modify sheets.

Courses are being provided by 4 Ideal Design (4iD) in partnership w/ the CCNY Architecture Alumni Group. All Profits from this course will be donated to the CCNY Architecture Alumni Scholarship Fund.
